Requirements Engineer (m/f)

we are urgently seeking a passionate **Requirements Engineer (m/f)** for embedded devices. Our client is a leading player in the automotive sector supplying state of the art infotainment and audio solutions. You will be in charge of specification, documentation and the formalization of customer requirements for both new products and requirements and also the existing product line (change-management). Identify the functional-, non-functional- and quality requirements and delegate towards the responsible development or engineering teams in charge. For proof-of-concept or technical analysis of requirements you will work in close collaboration with the engineering departments and then formalize them using a requirement-management-system (DOORS). Furthermore you will use an "automotive SPICE" conform process for laying out the specification and customer requirement lists and manage the requirements under the aspects of the risk and change-management guidelines. This would then be followed by a review and verification of the results using a SPICE conform documentation process.
Required Skills:
- you have a university or similar academic background in a technical subject (electrical engineering or telecommunications)
- several years experience of software and requirement engineering ideally in an automotive environment
- very good knowledge of Rational DOORS (DXL)
- superb scripting skills (python, perl or similar)
- good overall knowledge of software modeling (UML)
- good knowledge of SPICE processes
- analytical thinking and a desire to understand the big picture
- customer oriented personality
- knowledge of audio, multimedia, bluetooth and connectivity would be a plus
- familiarity with the bluetooth standards would be a plus
- Your command of the German and English language is excellent
